California State Standards

In California, the State Board of Education sets standards for instruction. Information is available on how California adopted the California Common Core State Standards .

California has Content Standards for English Language Arts, Mathematics, English Language Development, Career Technical Education, Computer Science, Health Education, History-Social Science, Physical Education, Science, Visual and Performing Arts, and World Language.

The State also provides information about how California monitors student progress through the California School Dashboard (for Middle School information, search for "Willowbrook Middle").
